Antarctica Ice

According to P. Spotts (March 8, 2008) in this article “Antarctic`s Wilkins Ice Shelf Eroding at an Unforeseen Pace” Antarctica`s ice shelf collapse because of global warming. Its corrosion does not directly influence the sea level. However, glaciologists worry about Antarctica`s ice shelves their role as a protective barrier, because if this would be melted, it cannot play an important role in keeping the other glaciers away from flowing into the sea. And, the glaciers have been melting faster. Dr. Scambos says scientists could predict the behavior of other ice shelves as weather changes the ocean`s state.

I agree in this article. People should protect Antarctica; also, we should protect nature. I am going to write about air pollution, water pollution, and environment pollution.

First, many people are able to make air pollution because now we are using fossil fuel. It has caused smoke pollution. For example, when we are used to cars, it makes exhaust gas. This induces air pollution. As another example, if oil factories are operating firing, it causes air pollution, because when we burn fossil fuel, it would make serious problems. So, when we use fossil fuel, we should use it carefully.

Second, many companies make water pollution because they emit a lot of industrial waste in the water. Some companies make effluence quietly and create industrial waste because when they are unlawful, they are able to get away whit this situation. Also, if we have an oil tanker sunk in the sea, it would cause water pollution. So, we should try to keeping water.

Finally, we usually make some serious environment pollution, because we use plastic bag or oil. It will cause environmental destruction. And, if we do not have any other resource, we should try to get new resource. We should make effort to conserve natural resources through recycling because it is a good ways.

In conclusion, we have to protect nature. We need to protect air, water, and environment, because it is a very important resource. Some people do not keep our nature. So, we should try to use reusable resources, and when we are using fossil fuel, we have to be careful.
