According to J. Munay (May 25, 2008) in this article “Oil; A global crisis,” oil costs have been more expensive because of war. Saddam Hussein`s Iraq pumped 3.5 million barrels of oil a day, but now they just pump two million barrels because of war. Moreover, they are saving enough oil. Dr Salameh says that if the war ended, it would prevent the rising of oil price. However, the U.S wanted to capture Iraq and its oil.

Today, increasing the oil cost is an issue. The world is focused on this problem because we need oil. So, the U.S should stop the war. Also, people should reduce their use of cars and the scientists should develop alternative energy.

First, the U.S should stop the war because it makes increasing oil costs. Iraq has burned the places where oil is produced. It means if the war continues, Iraq is going to explode its oil, because they do not want the U.S to take their oil. So, the U.S should stop the war to prevent running out of oil, because the war is one of factors that makes oil run out.

Second, people use cars too many times, so that affects the increase of oil cost, because oil demand would be lower than the amount of spending on the oil. Thus, people should reduce the time they use cars instead of public transportation. It can help to not waste the oil a lot by using public transportation.

Finally, the scientists should develop alternative energy, because oil is an exhaustible resource. Thus, if we used the oil a lot, it would be increasing oil costs more and more. If the scientist developed alternative energy, it could be helpful for us. It will not be as expensive as oil costs. So, the scientists should find other ways.

In conclusion, many people use oil. The U.S should stop the war because it makes increasing oil costs. People should reduce time they use cars and use public transportation. Also, the scientist should develop alternative energy. These would decrease oil costs.
